Business Development Officer, Strategic Initiatives at NorQuest College
Since August 2017, Andrea Eriksson has served as the Business Development Officer, Strategic Initiatives at NorQuest College. Andrea is responsible for overseeing the development of the Hemp Farmer and Hemp Processing and Products course. This is the first course of its kind in North America. She travelled to farms across Canada filming and interviewing farmers that are currently producing hemp. Also she coordinated 20 subject matter experts to develop the course curriculum. Andrea is passionate about hemp and all of its entrepreneurial applications.
Andrea has a Bachelor’s of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Master of Global Management degree from Royal Roads University, and is a Certified International Trade Professional. Andrea sees hemp as an entrepreneurial medium and has come to learn that quality hemp products start in the field.

Eldeen, is a Saskatchewan Farm Girl! She grew up on a mixed farm in East Central Saskatchewan, and uses many of her experiences from that time in her life to understand and apply her approach to safety.
Eldeen is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), a Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC), a Certified Health and Safety Management System Auditor (CHSMSA), a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (FIIRSM) and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in the UK (CMIOSH),… She has a diverse safety designation and educational background.
Eldeen is committed to a Safer World of Work. Her commitment is demonstrated by her 25 plus years of experience and involvement as an advisor and consultant to various industry sectors, government organizations, and businesses, and as lecturer at educational institutions. It is also shown through her involvement and volunteer positions in safety and health related associations. Eldeen is the Past President of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) and the past president of the International Network of Safety and Health Professional Organizations (INSHPO), and is the current standards practice chair of the International Practice Specialty of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP)
Due to her commitment and professionalism, she has received a regional and national Safety Professional of the Year awards in Canada. She has been honored by the American Society of Safety Professionals in their publication – 100 Women making a difference in the safety, health and environment profession, she been inducted into the Saskatchewan Safety Hall of Fame, had been presented with both the Saskatchewan and Canadian Safety Professional of the year award (in different years) and she was recognized and invited to have tea with the queen at Buckingham palace for her contributions to health and safety globally.
For these reasons and more, Eldeen is sought after to share her passion and knowledge as an International Key Note and Sessional Speaker.
MN Millennial Farmer
Known to his 250,000+ followers on YouTube as the “Millennial Farmer”, Zach is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.
His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.

Curtis Weber comes from Battleford Saskatchewan, where he has been inspiring and influencing change in safety behaviours across Canada/US for over 12 years. Working in safety as a Trainer, Consultant, Officer and Speaker, following a near fatal workplace incident, Curtis has been able to develop a unique way of challenging audiences to change the way they perceive safety. Curtis believes that before we can develop or change a safety culture, first we must understand and influence human behaviours towards safety. Using his own personal experience of a near fatal workplace incident, let Curtis take you on his journey and challenge you on the way you think about safety.
